The 2nd CompanionAble workshop on "Graceful Integration of Acceptable Assistive ICT, including Companion Robotics, within Smart Homes: Challenges and Opportunities for AAL" was successfully concluded on the 18th November in Salzburg, Austria, co-located with the AmI09. Please note that the date has been changed to 2nd December 2009 only as many workshop participants have indicated that this would be more suitable for them. Furthermore we are pleased to confirm the following venue: NOVOTEL BRUSSELS GRAND PLACE 120, rue du Marché Aux Herbes 1000 BRUSSELS BELGIUM Additionally we are pleased to announce that selected papers will appear in the Ubiquitous Computing and Communication Journal (UBICC Journal, ISSN 1992-8424, (http://www.ubicc.org).
